    We only purchase raw herbal ingredients from reputable manufacturers.

    A signed certificate of analysis must accompany each ingredient.Even from excellent sources, we occasionally reject a herbal extract because it does not meet our strict requirements

    We also do in-depth research and studies on the synergy of herbs.

    We use ingredients that are shown to be effective in scientific studies and oppose the use of genetically engineered products and raw materials that are contaminated with pesticide residues, heavy metals and/or other contaminants.

  • Safe

    Our manufacturing facility is inspected by SAHPRA on a regular basis. Up to date batch records are kept on all manufactured products. To ensure safety, shelf life and stability on our dermatological products, stability testing is done on a regular basis.

DNA Biopharm SA

DNA Biopharm was established in 1989 and has a long involvement in the diabetic community in South Africa. The company is also involved in research and development of unique herbal products. Over the years we have built up an extensive, targeted range of products for the South African market.

We have registered with SAHPRA and are approved by the FDA as an importer, exporter and manufacturer of herbal products ( Reg no.17909018848). Dr Helen Muir serves on our board of directors and is involved in product evaluation and trials

The company is managed by Lionel and Camilla Crewe and our responsible pharmacist is Vanessa Gardiner who ensures that good GMP is carried out.  Our manufacturing facility is SAHPRA and FDA approved and is compliant with all ISO standards.
